THANK YOUIt is with great sincerity that the Livestock event committee would like to thank all that attended the 2011 Livestock music and giving celebration! Your animal donations will make a life-long difference to families in desperate need. Your generous giving has provided $29,229 towards the purchase of livestock animals. These animals are already on their way to supporting World Vision sponsored families and communities around the globe. Thank you, thank you! “As it is written: He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” 2 Corinthians 9: 9 THANK YOU SARA GROVES!Sara Groves was our headliner act for Livestock 2011 and it topped the event off like a cherry on an ice cream sunday! Sara Groves burst onto the gospel scene at the dawn of the new millennium with her fresh vocals and spiritual songwriting. She’s been compared to the likes of Shawn Colvin and Rich Mullins, however, Groves defines her own musical craft. She cannot be limited to one exact label, for her contemporary Christian hooks also mold into delicate pop. Now, a world renowned singer/songwriter, Sara Groves accentuates melancholy and beauty in her poetic lyrics. Even the unsuspecting listener will relate as the songs unfold. It doesn’t take long to realize that Sara draws you into whom and where she is in life by offering a vivid invitation into her most important relationships. |
