What do we celebrate?
Our abundance. Living in America we have been given some amazing blessings and resources. We believe that one of the greatest resources that we have is money. It’s true. Did you know that the average annual income in America is $38,611 per person or about $105 per day? Compare that to over half of the people on earth who make less than $2 per day.
What are we fundraising for?
Livestock animals; chickens, goats, sheep, cows, bulls, fish ponds, and so much more. Who gets the Livestock animals? The poor. Livestock has partnered with World Vision to raise hope for the world’s most down and out through the simple gift of Livestock animals.
Why raise Money for Livestock animals?
When you give the gift of a Livestock animal, you’ll help a family provide for themselves both today and tomorrow. For instance, a goat nourishes an entire family by giving protein-rich milk that can be made into delicious cheese and yogurt. And it provides a source of much-needed income through the sale of offspring and extra dairy products. It’s a gift that multiplies. It’s a gift that keeps on giving.
